This 3-hour History and Brunch Tour will take you back through time where you will visit a number of locations that played a role in Sheffield's industrial heritage, finishing with a delicious sit-down brunch.

Kelham Island is one of Sheffield's oldest industrial districts dating back 900 years and has a rich and interesting history.

A keen local history enthusiast, Peter your guide will take you on a journey right back to Norman times with tales of Sheffield Castle and the Duke of Norfolk’s time in the city. You will also hear about the important part Sheffield’s five rivers played in the city's rise to an industrial giant. You will visit the site of a workhouse and hear more about the devastating effects of The Sheffield Great Flood. Guests will also gain insight into Kelham Island’s connection to New York and the Brooklyn Bridge and not forgetting a stop at the Kelham Island museum and the Bessemer Converter - the inspiration for our logo.

The last hour of this tour will be spent enjoying a leisurely brunch at one of the superb venues in Neepsend.
